Hey Skab, Its been a while..... Ive been sticking to photography, i havent got the hand for what you do.... I have a tendancy to get caught.... I was thinking, I wonder if all the graffers got together, they could possibly sue the government for defamation, by labelling them vandals, at least those of you who have done legal jobs. Government will call the rest of you vandals no matter what. Its unfortunate that it has to be that way, but i guess its nice to have the added thrill.
Heya! Wow it has been a while! It must of been fate or something I actually came on here so close to you writing this. I think the last time I was on would of been last year.
Aww nah, I seriously doubt we would have a case. Anything that's been done with a spray can isn't ever going to be appreciated as much as a painting done by brush, at least not for a looong time and any work that someone gets paid for they get labeled as a sell-out. There has been a lot of graffers getting exhibitions and big contracts with major companies but pretty sure its just corporate exec's milking the latest fad.
I think I'm fairly similar to what other graffers think but; were not really after appreciation or respect from joe public, its more of an addiction then anything else, the added thrill you mentioned. Purely selfish. Guh, makes me want to go paint now. Tafe keeps me pretty busy so I rarely have time for it.
How have you been anyhow? Congratulations on your child!!! When did that happen? Whats their name!? The sauce photo and your description was adorable.
Thats Isabella, Jessie and i had her April last year. Glad you like it! That Beetle was awesome it was as big as my hand and it made a hissing sound when you touched it. Made a great photo. I just got a new camera, and the photos are brilliant! Putting a few more up soon. Whats doin @ Tafe?
